Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how RD Technology LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with your use of the MyFollowUp mobile application (the "App") — an SMS retention and rebooking platform for local service businesses.

By downloading or using MyFollowUp, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information when you use MyFollowUp:

  • Account information: Your name, email address, and business name when you register.
  • Google account data: If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google, subject to Google's own privacy policy.
  • Customer contact data: Phone numbers and names of your customers that you enter into the App for the purpose of sending SMS follow-up messages. This data belongs to you and is stored securely on your behalf.
  • Business information: Your business type, service industry, and preferences you configure in the App.
  • SMS message content: The text of SMS messages you create, customize, and schedule through the App.
  • Usage data: Information about how you use the App, including features used, messages sent, and session activity — used to improve the product.
  • Device information: Device type, operating system version, and app version for diagnostics and compatibility purposes.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect solely to operate and improve MyFollowUp:

  • Deliver the core service — sending automated SMS follow-up messages to your customers on your behalf
  • Authenticate your account and maintain account security
  • Process subscription payments and manage your billing
  • Respond to your support requests
  • Improve App features, fix bugs, and optimize performance
  • Comply with legal obligations including A2P 10DLC SMS compliance requirements

We do not use your customer contact data for any purpose other than delivering messages you explicitly schedule through the App.

SMS Messaging and Compliance

MyFollowUp sends SMS messages to your customers on your behalf through messaging infrastructure. As the business owner using this App, you are responsible for ensuring:

  • You have obtained proper written or verbal consent from each customer before sending them SMS messages
  • Your use of the App complies with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and all applicable carrier guidelines
  • You honor all opt-out requests promptly — customers may opt out at any time by replying STOP
  • You do not use the App to send unsolicited, deceptive, or harassing messages

Standard message and data rates may apply to SMS recipients. MyFollowUp includes opt-out language in messages as required by law.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information or your customers' contact data. We share data only with the following service providers as necessary to operate the App:

  • SMS delivery infrastructure: Phone numbers and message content are transmitted through a 3rd party infrastructure to deliver your messages.
  • Supabase: Database and authentication infrastructure. Your account data and customer records are stored in Supabase's secure cloud database.
  • RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management via the Google Play billing system.
  • Google: If you use Google Sign-In, your authentication is handled by Google subject to their Privacy Policy.
  • Law enforcement or legal process: When required by applicable law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of users or others.

Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account remains active. Customer contact data you enter is retained until you delete it within the App or close your account. You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.

To request data deletion: Submit a deletion request.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure database storage through Supabase, and access controls limiting who can access user data. However, no system is completely immune to security risks, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your account and associated data
  • Opt out of certain data uses

Children's Privacy

MyFollowUp is designed for business owners and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, contact us immediately and we will delete it.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page and by sending an in-app notification where appropriate. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
